Riyadh the capital city and also the largest city of Saudi Arabia. Life is interesting here specially for expats who come to the country for jobs and most of them have no relative here and they also can not call every relative to meet them for visit visa. Only the job holder can bring his parents for visit, in rear cases the brother and sister allowed to visit. Job holder's wife can call her parents for visit in case of pregnancy.

Although the weather is quite extreme in this region but not all the year. In summer dryness is worst, if you are habitual of moisture then you must have a humidifier at your home. you must take special care of your hair and skin. And if you are allergic to dust then it would be difficult for you survive here specially in summer because you have to face many dust storms in the season. Rains are usually dusty in summer with high winds. Winter rains make you feel good and cold as well. As most of the time you spend your time in Ac's and Heaters at homes, at malls and even in cars, so the weather don't feel tough.
You might feel some restrictions bad specially for women but there are also good facilities for them as well like separate mosques, resting areas, counters, women stuff related shops etc. But women can not take rides in amusement parks if they cover their faces.
